Fort Hill Motel

We loved our stay at Fort Hill. Plan on staying there everytime we come to this area. Nice staff, clean rooms and great price. Laundry, pool and even basketball court. The jewel of Petersburg

Very nice place to stay. Clean rooms and friendly owners. The room had everything, frig, large tv, coffee, microwave and modern bathroom.

Stayed there this past Tuesday night. August 26, 2025. Out on a MC trip. Had researched motels before I left home. Added the phone number to my phone. Called and left a message. Was on my way so I just stopped. Had a no vacancy sign up but called me back. Had a cancellation. Got a room and was able to use the extra time I had to site see close by. Had always wanted to see Seneca Rocks. Couldn’t have worked out any better. Lady that checked me in was very nice. Motel is VERY well kept. This is a VERY nice place. Price was very reasonable. Room was the absolute best motel room I’ve ever stayed in. Clean and bright. Super nice. Bathroom was clean and neat. Very nicely done. Even has a beautiful pool. Towels outside to use for wiping down bikes, boots or whatever. If you’re expecting to be in the area call ahead and reserve your room. You can thank me later.

Very,very nice. Wood floors. TV in living room and bedroom. Walk in shower. Not stingy with their towels. 2 burner, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot,and dishes. You will love the view. The lady that owns and runs it, is very, very kind.

The Fort Mill Motel has to be the finest $100 a night motel/hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I was skeptical about it because of the price but when I walked into our room I was blown away. A larger than normal fridge with ample freezer space, very clean, no carpet (greatly reduces the risk of hitchhiking bugs), generous amount of towels in the roomy bathroom. The walk-in shower was also roomy, had a seat and fantastic water pressure and long lasting hot water. The beds were very comfortable and the best part about them was the pillows. 4 pillows, all different thicknesses AND firmness, I didn’t have to bring my pillow in from the car, absolutely unheard of in a motel/hotel. Microwave, coffeemaker, clean pool, basketball court, even the windows opened so on nice evenings you don’t have to run the A/C. There was some road noise but you’ll have that at most places. I HIGHLY recommend the Fort Mill Motel!!!!

I would stay here again without hesitation. Complimentary towels by the pool and even old towels specifically to wipe down our motorcycles. Rooms were super clean and appeared to have fresh paint and flooring throughout. Bathroom was immaculate, also with plenty of towels. The view is to die for and there's a gazebo and Adirondack chairs on the front lawn to watch the sunset. The only negative was that there was nobody in the office when we arrived at 5 pm and also when we left in the morning at 8 am. This was not a problem because I reserved over the phone and they told me the keys would be in an envelope taped to the door, which they were. They are also adamant about their no smoking policy, it's posted everywhere on the property including all outdoor spaces. It's actually the first question they asked when I called to make a reservation. If you're a smoker this probably is not the place for you.

Highly recommended! Super clean, recently renovated rooms, smoke free, nice beds, clean bathroom with plenty of hot water and fresh smelling linens. Please patronize if you're ever in the Grant, Hardy, Hampshire, or Pendleton Counties area! Pool, basketball court, sandbox, gazebo and swing for some recreation.

I love this little motel - they are so friendly and the rooms are well-equipped, clean, and comfy. I've stayed in both a standard room and the extended stay efficiency and they were both wonderful. The staff and owners are very friendly and care that you have a pleasant stay. Also - that view! Just lovely.
